Lyons Industrial leases Beechtree Business Park facility to Carbures USA
Lyons Industrial Properties is pleased to announce they have leased the Hidria USA facility in Beechtree Business Park to Carbures USA. Lyons Industrial represented the central European owner of the building who is based in Slovania.
Carbures USA plans to expand current operations in Greenville and hire 20 more employees this year, CEO Ivan Contreras said. The Cadiz, Spain-based high-tech firm makes carbon structures for the aerospace industry. The company will expand its current operations by about 27,000 square feet in a facility located at 202 Beechtree Blvd which is located in the Beechtree Business Park in Greenville.
The new facility will have CNC capabilities and room to manufacture tools and composite parts for the aerospace, automotive and infrastructure sectors.
Carbures’ U.S. headquarters is in Greenville, including its engineering, manufacturing and office space. It currently has 15 local employees.
In September 2011, the company announced plans to invest $6.5 million and generate at least 50 jobs over the next five years at its facility at the S.C. Technology and Aviation Center in Greenville County. Carbures will maintain its operations at SCTAC as well.
Carbures plans to hire manufacturing composite operators and composite engineers.
