Lyons leads team to victory at Tyger River tournament

Bobby Lyons (Lyons Industrial Properties) along with coaches BJ Smith, Smitty Smith, Michael Patterson, and Michael Dover lead the Gaffney Indian 9U travel baseball team to victory this past weekend at the Tyger River complex in Duncan, SC.  The USSSA Double 3 Blowout tournament lasted two days with 9 teams throughout the region competing for the title.  After 2 games on Saturday, the Indians secured their spot in the gold bracket and fought hard through 3 games of tough competition on Sunday to win it all.  In the past 3 tournaments, the Indians have won 2 gold bracket championships and placed 2nd in another.  Go Indians!
